Next Meeting - October 6th

Hi Everyone,

What an incredible beginning to a new year. Happy New Year, to those who are celebrating this week! Our last meeting was hosted by Susan Fireside...thanks Susan! We signed new applications and contracts for the new year and reviewed many of our new guidelines. Last week, several of us attended the Make It Better: North Shore Night of Clubbing and we were very pleased to see Mom4Profit represented. It was a fun evening. We also, with a huge applause to Susan Fireside, managed to send out an Ad for Mom4Profit to Make It Better. This ad will be featured in their new magazine Better, set to launch in October. A banner ad will also be shown on their online version. Thanks for everyone who participated!

Hi Everyone!

Our next meeting will be hosted by Susan Fireside, Winter and Construction, our resident branding expert. Topic: "Worst logos ever. A fun look at some designs that convey the wrong message. I'm sure that when Arlington Pediatric Center went out to create a brand they did not mean to convey sex. See what happens when good intentions go bad."

Also, we'll be presenting our new Membership contracts and applications, please be sure to bring your check books to complete the registration process and pay 2009-2010 dues. Thank you to everyone who submitted their input, we definitely kept them in mind!

August 4th Meeting!

July Meeting Notes

July's meeting was the best yet!  We had many returning members and new members attend. Please welcome:  Stacey Gordon - Elder Options, Maria Soltan - WowGreen, Julie Stark-JS Consulting, Stacy Repkin- Istoria Publishing, Terri Frydman - Yoga Instructor, & Kathleen Weinberg-Nibbles Play Cafe.

James M. Lynch, JM Lynch Training, was our guest speaker.  He led a powerful mini-workshop on our "story", both personal and professional and then spearheaded a discussion about Mom4Profit's "story"; where we are and where we want to go as an organization.  Everyone signed up for revamped committees that included: Contribution, Sponsorship, Culture/Development, Membership, PR, Legal, Tracking, Events & Chapters.  All members are encouraged to contact Mom4Profit to sign up.

Next meeting will be held at Kim Preston's home, Inviting Designs on August 4th (details to follow).

The next Mom4Profit meeting is July 7th.  It will be hosted by Michelle Kriegel at her home.  James Lynch, our business coach, will work with us on the "story" of Mom4Profit; where we've come from and where we're headed.  He'll help us create a united vision for our group and have us create a clear vision of "what's next".  Please make every effort to attend so everyone's voice is heard!

June Meeting Notes

We had a great meeting Tuesday.  Thank you Jola for hosting!  We concentrated our meeting on the Enrichment event, a debrief.  Welcome new members: Rachael Smith, Vicki Elekman & Lizzy Garlovsky.  Please note: before someone attends a meeting they must be a member.  To become a member you must get "clearance" from Natalie and Riv (to make sure there are no profession conflicts) and join through the blog.  Contact us for more information or questions.
